Mandera is a county located in the North Eastern part of Kenya, bordering Somalia and Ethiopia.
The main inhabitants are from the Garre tribe of somali ethnic group.
Their main economic activity is pastoralism, beekeeping and agriculture along the Dawa river.

Visit the Malka Mari National Park located along the Ethiopian border along the Daua river. It has a wide range of wildlife across is fascinating landscape created by plateaus hills and valleys.
