Cataract surgery is a common procedure to restore the vision whereas Cleft Lip surgery is a
procedure of repairing the separation of the lip most common in children.
I-Fly took part in a CSR project in August 2022 in partnership with Safe Surgical Aid with
the aim to improve the lives of the affected patients.
The project focused on offering free surgical experience to both children and adults in
marginalized areas such as Wajir and Mandera.
Over 1000 patients got treated.

With the increased drought in parts of Kenya like Wajir. Some Kenyans like Nasra Yusuf (the
comedian) took it up upon themselves and decided to start a campaign with the aim of providing
food and water for people in affected areas.
Her first project was in Wajir at a camp for internally displaced individuals in Bar Quaqay in
Wajir County. She rallied Kenyans to contribute money to buy water and food.
I-Fly partnered with her to support the campaign and she has managed to feed over 800 people.
