I-Fly Air does not accept animals or pets for carriage on our flights.
The baggage allowance for each I FLY AIR ticket is a total of 20kgs or 30kgs depending on the
equipment being operated for the day. This is divided into; FOKKER 50 (5 kg hand baggage
and 15kgs check in baggage) FOKKER 70 (10 kg hand baggage and 20kgs check in
baggage).
Passengers can check in the total 20kgs or 30kgs (depending on the equipment) as it remains in
the baggage allowance limit.
One will be required to pay a charge for carriage of baggage in excess of the free baggage
allowance at the prevailing rate.
- As we make every attempt to ensure your baggage is handled with care, you should know
that I Fly Airs’ liability for loss, delay or damage to baggage is limited unless a higher
value is declared in advance and additional charges paid. - The extent of airline liability is not based on the weight of the luggage nor its value.
- I Fly Air does not accept liability for fragile, valuable, perishable articles or baggage
which is packed in damaged or unsuitable containers. - Under our ticket terms and conditions, we accept no liability for the loss of jewellery,
valuables and money contained in checked baggage. - You are advised to keep valuables, important documents and money either on your
person or in your cabin baggage. We strongly recommend all passengers obtain adequate
travel insurance cover prior to their journey.
Any item listed as forbidden for transport in carry-on or checked baggage should not be allowed
in the I-FLY Aircraft. Refer to our Restricted Items here.

For your safety and that of other passengers and aircraft at I FLY AIR‚ you are prohibited from
carrying the following items in either checked or hand baggage:

If your baggage is damaged on arrival, or does not turn up:
- Present yourself at the desk for file creation or email us reservations@ifly.co.ke
- You will be offered immediate assistance and a baggage claim form presented to you to
fill in detail and a copy issued thereafter which you should keep safe. - You can track lost baggage by contacting our call center on 0740100100.
- I Fly Airs’ liability could be reduced if baggage was presented for check-in unsuitably
packed or after the recommended check-in time. - If your baggage has been delayed, you will be contacted immediately and arrangements
will be made to have it delivered to your local address when it arrives. Please note
delivery fee might apply for locations that are not accessible. - Should you need to make a claim for compensation, this will be required in writing
within seven days after your arrival to your nearest I Fly Air Airport office or you should
contact our call center for further assistance. - To help us process your claim quickly, please provide your ticket reference number stated
on the baggage claim form when you reported your baggage as delayed or damaged.
Each client (adults and children) traveling on I-FLY AIR is only allowed to have a maximum
luggage allowance of 20kgs on the Fokker 50 equipment and 30kgs on the Fokker 70 equipment.
Infants are not entitled to have any luggage allowance apart from the baby bag or a baby stroller
which will not be charged.
Excess luggage can be paid through the following and a receipt issued. Mobile Money through
M-pesa (I FLY AIR PAYBILL NUMBER), Card Payments on Company PDQ, or Cash.
Any fragile baggage should be declared upon check-in and a fragile sticker or tag will be issued
and put on the baggage.
Any baggage that has not been packed appropriately will not be checked in or received as a
parcel. Passengers who have any inadequate packed baggage will be requested to pack it well or
be requested to look for other alternatives for a fee; if at all the I-FLY AIR personnel are not in a
position to assist in terms of the packaging materials for ease of transportation.
Any perishable item should be declared by the client. If it is meat, chicken, pork or fish, it must
be put in a cooler box with ice and a receipt of purchase must be provided showing the expiry
date place of purchase etc. If it is from a slaughterhouse, it should indicate that it is fit for
consumption and stamped.
